Gionni Maze

Executive Vice President

Gionni D’Angelo Maze was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. The oldest if his siblings, Maze always felt the need to demonstrate leadership, encourage others and to pave the way for his younger siblings. He attended Tennessee State University, where he earned his B.S. in civil and environmental engineering. During his time at TSU, Maze joined and later served as president of the Zeta Alpha chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. He also served as the Public Relations Chair for Region III of the National Society of Black Engineers, was elected Senior Class President and served as head coach for the 11 and 12-year- old Bellevue Steelers football team. Upon graduation, Maze has worked in Illinois, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New York where he continued to show leadership while trying to put a smile on each face he came across. After relocating back to his hometown of Atlanta, Maze found out his grandfather suffered from Parkinson’s disease. “When I found out, I didn’t tell anyone but I was devastated. To see someone who believes and supports in every step I take in life, go through something they can’t control or doesn’t have a cure, hurts. Knowing that he fights everyday gives me more than enough motivation to at least try to make an impact in the community.”
